It's been a long time since I last updated my diary and I have lots to write about. Where do I start?

Since my shoot with The Holloways I have also been working with Charles Chambers of Cradle Of Filth, Darren Clewes from Nottingham band Hinterland and Tom Clarke of The Enemy. I will get shots from these shoots on-line soon. There are alot of live shots that I have got to sort through and get into the gallery also so keep an eye open for them.

There are lots of exciting things happening at the moment and I hope to be updating everyone on that very soon.

On Thursday 8th we went down to Wrexham to shoot The Holloway’s who were playing a gig later that night at the Central Station. We arrived while they were doing the sound-check. We set up the lights outside where there was a good wall to use as a back drop but once we were ready to go…..it started raining! Lol Shot the guitarists Alfie Jackson and Rob Skipper with their Lag guitars.
Before The Holloway’s went on stage we spoke to their lovely manager Tre. The Holloway’s took to the stage in front of a great lively audience who were on great form all night. Took some great shots and tried out my latest lens. After the show I took a few more shots of the band and they came out great too. A big thank you to Tre, The Holloway’s and Alex at Lag.

On Sunday 11th we headed to Walsall Art Gallery to do a shoot with Lunar Mile. The gallery is a work of art itself and was a great place to do a shoot. The shots have turned out great and I’m currently working on them now. Lunar Mile has also got an upcoming tour with Breed 77 so make sure you check it out!

On Tuesday we went to Birmingham’s NIA Arena to see Journey, was really looking forward to it as I’m a huge fan. It was even better because Danny Vaughn had been added as the support. As it was an acoustic set it was just Danny Vaughn and Tony Marshall and they gave one hell of a performance! They sang some classics such as ‘Standing Alone’ and ‘Forever Young’ along with new tracks ‘That’s What She Said’ and ‘Traveler’ which is also the title of their new album, which I picked up and have been playing ever since. It was a shame they didn’t have a longer set but they are playing their own dates soon in May where I hope to catch up with them again and get some more live shots.

Journey took to the stage and gave a great energetic show. Jeff Scott Soto was amazing on vocals and stage presence as always. It was great to hear all my favourite tracks live and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Got my tickets for Alice Cooper at Nottingham which should be really cool and I’m hoping to get some Metallica tickets for their gig at Wembley…..why they cant play Birmingham too is beyond me!!!

I have added up a few more shots to the "Will Not Die" wrestling gallery today. The newest addition being El Ligero vs Darkside. Will get a few more up soon.

Went to the Focus on Imaging exhibition at the NEC on Sunday with Al and Terry. It was a huge event with all aspects of photography being catered for. There were a lot of people there and it was a great day. Terry brought a new lens while I treated myself to a new Elinchrom lighting rig and added to my ever increasing collection of memory cards.

One of my Tigertailz shots is in the latest Classic Rock magazine which is pretty cool,,,,just wish I’d known about it, lol

Will be shooting the Holloways in Wrexham next week which I’m looking forward to.

Here's a few shots from the El Ligero vs Darkside match.

Just got back from the ‘Will Not Die’ event at Doncaster Dome. After the unfortunate news that 1pw had ended and that the No Turning Back was cancelled, 3CW and RQW decided to give the fans one last event to celebrate the great promotion.

Fight Club started off the afternoon which included the first female wrestling match between Mischief and Jezebel. I had seen Jezebel at Triple X and also Mischief who had been featured in Fighting Spirit and I thought it was a great match.

The main event Will Not Die was another great success. Damned Nation became the new Tag Team Champions after their defeat over Team Shag and Fleisch and Storm.

Spud defeated Team Supreme with SJK and gave a heartfelt speech which got me all teary-eyed!

The last match of the night was Ulf Herman vs. Iceman in a Survival of the Sickest match. Both Iceman and Ulf gave it their all and had some great weapons such as a first aid box, bucket and even a car tyre!!! Iceman pulled out a table from under the ring and Ulf proceeded to set it alight. He then threw Iceman through the flaming table and got the 3 count making him 1PW’s Heavyweight Champion (about time! lol) The whole roster entered the ring and Ulf gave a big thank you to all the crew and fans who had stuck with 1PW.

A big thank you to Stevie Aaron, Dragon Aisu, Dean Ayass, Tony Barratt, Keith Myatt and Jay Phoenix (who gives the best hugs!) Ha-ha

Went to see Steven Seagal on Thursday 18th at the Robin 2 and despite not looking forward to it I was quite surprised. Got their early and was greeted with a "No cameras allowed” which was annoying.

The support act was really good, he had to instruments one was a Guibo which had been made by combining the body of a banjo with a neck of a guitar and the second was a cigar case with a snooker stick for the neck!

After a long interval (I was already really tired from a busy day) Steven Seagal and his band came to the stage. I’ll be honest it was much better than I thought it would be, it was the backing singers who made the show great and without them it wouldn't have been as good. Seagal spoke but I didn't really understand what he was saying,,,,much like in his movies! He he.

Heard Ozzy Osbourne will be playing a one off date in the UK in June, considering going, but it’s a long way to London and I have job to go to L , here’s hoping he plays Brum

I will be getting up the Ulf Herman vs. Iceman shots in the next few days and will be adding each gallery as soon as I get them done.
