On Saturday Terry and I went to the Wrestle Slam Convention at Manchester United’s Old Trafford Football Stadium. We arrived just before 7am (which meant I was up at 4am,,,and I’m still feeling it! lol) Once we got into the stadium we met up with Marco, Ben and Anthony who were the organizers of the event. We were doing Event Photography for the convention which entailed us printing shots of fans with the wrestlers so they could get them signed.
It was good to see Majik and Gabriel from Damned Nation who were both setting up their Ringside Live stall. I caught up with Vikram Rekhi again and he did an excellent job of doing all the artwork for the event.
The signings started not long after everyone started arriving. Being a huge fan of Bret Hart I managed to get my “Hitman Hart” autobiography signed. After all the signings had finished the Q&A started and it was great to hear all the funny stories especially from Marty Janetty. Once the Q&A had finished everyone started lining up to meet the Ultimate Warrior who was signing for over 3 hours.
The whole event went smoothly and everyone was in great spirits. A big thank you to Terry, Anthony, Marco, Ben and Laura for all their help.
On Thursday I will be heading up to Lincoln to shoot Danny Vaughn and the Illegal Eagles which I’m really looking forward to.
